Elise Takla

Elise Takla works as an Associate Lawyer at Molteberg Nilsen Law Firm. She primarily works within employment law, sale of goods law, and consumer sales law. Within employment law, she assists both employees and employers in matters relating to termination, dismissal, consultations, whistleblowing, wage claims, negotiations, and dispute resolution. Within sale of goods law and consumer sales law, she assists both buyers and sellers in disputes concerning defects and deficiencies in the purchase of, among other things, cars, boats, and horses.

Elise is engaged and efficient, and works purposefully to negotiate strong solutions. She has experience in litigation and dispute resolution, including proceedings before the courts and the Conciliation Board.

Before joining Molteberg Nilsen Law Firm, Elise worked as a consultant and associate lawyer at a consultancy firm, where she assisted homebuyers in cases concerning defects and deficiencies in property transactions under the Alienation Act. She has previously served as a deputy employee representative on the Faculty Board at the Faculty of Law in Bergen. She has also previously worked with anti-money laundering at DNB Bank. Elise wrote her master’s thesis on banks’ right and obligation to terminate customer relationships under the Financial Contracts Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act. She specialized through elective courses in tax law and company law.
