Elise Takla

Elise Takla is an attorney-at-law at Advokatfirmaet Molteberg Nilsen. Her primary areas of practice are employment law, sales law and consumer sales law.

Within employment law, Elise assists both employees and employers in matters concerning, among other things, termination of employment, summary dismissal, consultation meetings, whistleblowing, wage claims, negotiations and dispute resolution. Within sales law and consumer sales law, she assists both buyers and sellers in disputes relating to defects and non-conformities in the purchase of, among other things, cars, boats and horses.

Elise is committed and efficient, and works purposefully to achieve favourable solutions for her clients. She has experience in litigation and dispute resolution, including proceedings before the courts and the Conciliation Board.

Before joining Advokatfirmaet Molteberg Nilsen, Elise worked as a consultant and trainee lawyer at a consultancy firm. There, she assisted homebuyers in cases concerning defects and non-conformities in residential property under the Norwegian Alienation Act.

She has previously served as a deputy student representative on the Faculty Board at the Faculty of Law in Bergen and has also worked with anti-money laundering matters at DNB Bank. Elise wrote her master’s thesis on banks’ right and duty to terminate customer relationships under the Norwegian Financial Contracts Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act. She specialised in tax law and company law through her elective courses.
