The hourly rate depends on the complexity of the case and the experience and expertise of the responsible lawyer.

For larger assignments or ongoing assistance to businesses, we can offer by agreement:

• Fixed price or estimates
• Phase-based price
• Framework agreement
• Ongoing assistance tailored to the company's needs

Coverage of legal fees

Free legal aid

In certain types of cases, private individuals may be entitled to free legal aid, where the state covers all or part of the legal costs.

We assist with the application process if the conditions are met.

Legal aid coverage

Both private individuals and businesses can have legal aid cover through insurance - typically via home, property, directors' and officers' liability, commercial or vehicle insurance.

In the event of coverage, the insurance company will as a general rule cover up to 80% of the legal costs, subject to an agreed deductible.

We:

• clarify whether the case is eligible for coverage
• handle the dialog with the insurance company
• arrange for direct settlement where possible

Terms of engagement

We generally use the Norwegian Bar Association's standard terms and conditions, with any adaptations that are agreed upon when the assignment is entered into.
